2020, the year COVID 19 took its hold on the Uk and the rest of the world. Everything around the world ground to a halt. Que the homeschool hero’s, the creative chefs and the Netflix ninjas.
After 16 long weeks of lockdown. Many of us will have been clinging on to the hopes that our summer holidays would take place as planned.
Yesterday we got the news we were hoping would come. Our upcoming holiday was cancelled by the holiday provider. meaning we didn’t have to cancel the holiday. Which would have meant losing out on the money we had already paid off.
As nice as it would have been to spend a week in sunny Kefalonia. the best thing we can do is avoid the unnecessary risk and exposure that would have been involved. Doesn’t make it any less disappointing that we aren’t going anywhere now.
So what does this have to do with a boiler installation company? The money we spent on our holiday, which we will be getting refunded. Has already been earmarked for a New Bathroom. But its got us thinking.

With any new boiler installation you get a manufacturer backed warranty or guarantee. With warranty lengths between 5-12 years. The only boiler worry you would have over the next 5-12 years. Would just be an annual service to keep the warranty in date.
Also if you have any expensive boiler breakdown cover plans, those could be cancelled too.
While COVID-19 has been tough and we’ve all had to make sacrifices. Every cloud has a silver lining and we have to draw from the positives. We’ve had more time at home with our loved ones. We’ve had time to do those little jobs round the house and garden that just never get done. And in our case we got a new puppy.
Gus the English Bulldog is 13 weeks old now and has been with us for the last five of those.
